Tender Cuts was founded in April 2012 by a father and son duo, Victor and Shaun Slat. The two men had been in the meat industry for 30 and 15 years respectively. Being in the field as employees had led them to a lifelong dream of owning and operating their own butcher shop.  Unfortunately, after a short battle with cancer Victor passed away November 2014, leaving Shaun to continue running the business on his own.  Making his father proud, Shaun and his staff welcome the opportunity to serve you top quality meat selections. We are pleased to be a part of the Port Colborne community having created great partnerships with the local businesses and charities. With the overwhelming amount of products available today and the growing awareness of healthy eating, our goal is to offer you superior quality meats at affordable prices. In a pinch or short on time, we have delicious, succulent store cooked meals ready in minutes for any occasion, large or small. We strive to provide high-quality, wholesome meats and products such as Shaun’s store-made fresh sausage, smoked ribs, and marinated chicken breast, that the whole family can enjoy.
